ABOUT BRYONY

Warm and welcoming yoga, offering guidance to those seeking balance of body and mind.

I was introduced to yoga in my early twenties. Like many, I initially came to it for physical exercise. However, I soon experienced its positive, calming impact upon my mental health and general wellbeing.

In 2017, I decided to share these benefits with others, undertaking an 18 month Yoga Teacher Training Diploma with Yogacampus. This involved 320 in-person training hours, with a wide range of faculty teachers who broadened my knowledge. Since graduating, I have expanded my learning with further trainings. This has included teachers such as Judith Hanson Lasater, Doug Keller, and Lisa Kaley-Isley.

I am a qualified Restorative and Chair Yoga teacher, and trauma informed. My particular interest is in accessible yoga for mental health, previously teaching yoga with Rethink Mental Health. I work closely with Active Black Country and Diabetes UK, providing sessions to local communities, and supporting residents with their physical and mental health. I am a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

My classes are suitable for all levels and aim to be inclusive and accessible. They are a welcoming, safe space, where you can begin to explore the body and quiet the mind. Find out more about my offerings here. Or register for one of my classes here.
