About bryony Morris

hello there – I’m Bryony!

my journey with yoga

I first found yoga in my early twenties. Like many people, I initially came for the physical side, stretching, moving, and rebuilding strength after an accident. But it didn’t take long to notice that yoga gave me something more: space to breathe, a clearer mind, and support for my mental health in a way I hadn’t experienced before.

my yoga training

In 2017, after wrestling with imposter syndrome (I still can’t do a handstand!), I trained as a yoga teacher with Yogacampus, completing an 18-month diploma with over 320 hours of in-person training. I have also taken additional training with inspiring teachers including Judith Hanson Lasater, Doug Keller and Lisa Kaley-Isley, which has shaped how I teach today.

Today, I am still curious and my journey hasn’t stopped there. In January 2026, I enrolled on a 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training with OrangeYoga with Ian Davies to deepen my practice further. All my qualifications are accredited by Yoga Alliance.

adding sound to my practice

In 2023, I followed another long-held passion and trained with the Sound Healing Academy, gaining a Level 2 Diploma in Professional Integral Sound Bath Certification. Music has been a huge part of my life since I was very young, and the healing power of sound feels intuitive and natural to me.

I regularly host Yoga & Sound Relaxation sessions in the local community, alongside specialist sessions for groups ranging from older adults and dementia care settings to schools and corporate teams. Through the summer months, you can find me hosting sound baths at National Trust properties across the Midlands.

how i teach

My teaching is grounded in accessibility, kindness and care.

I’m a qualified Restorative and Chair Yoga teacher, trained in trauma-informed practice, and I hold specialist training in yoga for adults with disabilities, learning disabilities and autism. This is work I find especially meaningful as I continue to grow.

I’m particularly passionate about supporting mental health through gentle, inclusive movement.

gentle inclusive yoga in sandwell

My sessions are suitable for all levels and all bodies. They’re calm, inclusive, supportive and a safe space to gently explore the body, settle the nervous system, and find a little more ease.

You don’t need to be flexible, experienced or “good at yoga”, and you don’t need fancy leggings (unless you want them). You’re welcome just as you are.
