Yoga and Sound for care settings, day services & Organisations

I bring calm, adapted, person-centred sessions into care homes, day services, supported living, SEND settings and community organisations across the West Midlands. Every session is built around the people in the room, and there’s no set routine to follow. Each person is met individually; chairs, beds, wheelchairs, sensory needs, fluctuating energy – all are welcome.

01.
WHO I WORK WITH
Care homes and nursing homes – chair yoga, gentle movement and sound sessions for residents, including those living with dementia
Day services and supported living – special yoga for adults with learning disabilities and autism
SEND colleges and post-16 provision – regular adapted sessions as part of enrichment or wellbeing programmes
Charities and community groups – accessible sessions for members living with long-term conditions, including Parkinson’s
Individuals and families – one-to-one special yoga, including sessions funded through personal budgets and direct payments
Workplaces – wellbeing sessions for staff teams, on-site or online

02.
WHAT A SESSION MAY LOOK LIKE
Sessions typically run 20–60 minutes depending on your group, and can be scheduled weekly, fortnightly, monthly or one-off.
A chair yoga session in a care home might include gentle seated movement to music, easy breathing practices and a short relaxation.
A Special Yoga session could be gentle or more energetic based on the group. It will often be built around repetition, sensory grounding, and more one-to-one attention.
I always start with a conversation about your setting and the people I’ll be working with, so the very first session feels safe. I bring everything needed: mats, props, and any instruments, but chairs are usually yours.

03.
WHY YOGA & SOUND IN YOUR SETTING
Gentle movement supports mobility, balance and circulation; breath and sound support nervous system regulation, mood and connection. For activity coordinators, it’s a session that works for a genuinely mixed room, including people who usually opt out.
I have found that the same benefits occur over again: participants enjoy their sessions and look forward to seeing me, they are calmer and more visibly relaxed, and participants with limited verbal communication visibly engage.
